  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Adjusted Delivery Schedule...

I have a suggestion. How about if RED has a non-commentable STICKY with the LATEST delivery schedule on it and this sticky is changed (and the old information deleted) on the website permanently. This would allow people to constantly go to one place and only one place that had the latest delivery information without having to search for it or worry that we didn't have the latest possible info.

Makes sense to me. . . what say ye, RED One?

Like I mentioned, we are evolving and this "will call" situation is a goal we are working towards, it is just not a possibility for right now.

By your camera number, will call could very well be an option.

because there was a lot of guessing and a lot of schedules ?
which was the Latest Noraml CAPACITY fulfill per month ??:help:

We expect to get production up to 400 cameras for January and 500-600 February on. 700 units by May.

That is a rough schedule. We have been late in the past so we are hesitant to post a firm schedule and be late again. But this is what we are thinking- today.

Is it possible to have a sticky with 'estimate' dates?

I think we all understand things are going to change - but some sort thread with - estimate dates - and if a delay happens it's just mentioned - like adding pl mount lube etc.

Then a nu date added - I think it would go nicley with the transparent approach Jim has started.

It would maybe take off the stress of the us searching around here on reduser? as its better to know whats going on rather than nothing?

would love a "realtime" update sticky.....daily or bi-weekly postings would be great.....
 
You guys are crazy with that sticky idea. That would make finding up-to-date information way too easy.

Just to clarify, that means 400 units expected to ship in jan, or up to serial # 400?

I think they are trying to ship 400 units in Jan. That means up to #700. At least I hope so.... I'm expecting an email in about a week or so....
 
Hi,

What was the highest serial no that shipped in December? I am supposed to be testing cameras this week and they have not arrived yet.(or possibly left RED)
