I am new to stabilizer units, so this is in no way a review.

I have my own experience in human beeings though, and I have to say Brian Goff is well worth meeting on his own.

My wife and I paid Brian and his brother Daryl a little visit in Basel (Switzerland), in order to get the ActionCam demoed.
We were welcomed in the best manner possible and I even got a chance to try the actionCam for myself.
This product is so well thought that even a first time seemed like something nice from the start, I was expecting for sure a little more frustration.
The only trouble I encountered came from a lack of training of some muscles in my back, wich I will remedee as ASAP.
It's clear that flying a camera is as close to a sport as cinema can get, and takes a lot of training. This is good for my surfing and my surfing is good for my flying, jogging and a bit of weight lifting should do the trick nicely.

There should besome nice refinements to the system shown at LART, but I let Brian tell his story himself.
We were totally stocked on the way back to Zürich, and to think that such a product is made available to the Red community at such a fair price, really is part of the Red Revolution.
We will order as soon as Daryl send us a quote, and I know for sure the production of ActionCam is about to go through the roof nicely.

It sure is a great time to be a small indie house.

Ok, so after sitting in customs for to long, I finally recieved my Zero-g on Monday.

Wow, what a beautifl piece of gear the guys at Actionproducts have put together. The machine work is perfect. The rig is rock solid. The explorer cases are very nice too.

The first time I took the arm apart it took me about 45 minutes to figure out what I was doing. But then when I took the top half apart it only took me a few minutes (10-15) to change out the springs.

I can see the vest will take some fine tuning to get the "perfect" fit and support.

I have not used the 360xtreme yet. All the pieces are there and look to be fairly durable. I want to get more used to the rig before I jump into the xtreme, but its waiting in the case.

Really the only issue I've had is with the handles they use to loosen and tighten the battery mounts, monitor, extend the post and move the gimbal. since they are L handles instead of T's they can be a bit tough when other acc's are close not leaving much clearance. I also find them hard to turn and it takes many turns to loosen or tighten each one. Could be user error, but i puch the center button in and go by the ok righty tighty lefty loosie.

I'm still playing and as I get more familar with the gear I will further my opinion.

click on the link named "pricelist" you will get the pdf file with the latest pricing from Actioncam.

And as for my post yesterday about the handles. Total user error the I was over complicating the way they work, They tighten and loosen very easily. The L works fine and actualy is nice becasue after you tighten everything down you can twist the L to an angle that keeps it out of your way.

thanks. i found it. let us know how it works out for you on shoots. thanks for sharing.
