The Acrobat rig has been improved since first design and made more modular in design as well as shorter in length and with more features.
I will be releasing some 3ds next week as I still doing tests to mock ups.
But the design is almost finalized.
It includes a new redesigned shoulder pad that expands and secures around your chest, and a 1/1 - 1/3 point pivot for elastic cord to hang from ceiling of moving vehicles or hellis for vehicle aerial operation.
It also has a vibration isolator for the kenyon mount to house 2 ks6-ks8 gyros.
Iam also working on a spring short mount for the shoulder to absorb vibrations in case there is no space for hanging the rig.
Last an easy-rig attachment for the easy-riggers.
1 or 2 handle bars can connect to the front part according to taste of operation.
More projects are in the way.
One is a shoulder mount that this time has no tail and the camera is 50/50 on your shoulder but still free in 3 axis so less body motion errors and roll errors when walking.
Second is a mount arm for Dollies.
Its a spring arm that attaches to a boom section of a dolly, and together with a special designed gimbal and base will provide stabilization and isolation from vibrations . so no tracks just pneumatic wells now .
That can be also attached in a few other that dolly configutations as a hard mount on vehicles.
Everything is coming up 2010 and I hope you guys will like it.
thank you:sifone:
