Accurate the information on the RED ONE Menu

1st, what's the measure parameters on the
SYSTEM MENU > VIDEO>EXPOSURE - from -2.0 to +4.0 (what exactly those numbers mean)?

2nd, what's the information included on the procedure:
USER PROFILE exporting to CF Card?

Assuming the my code got implemented correctly, they should be in stops. What are you seeing that would make you think otherwise?

The numbers I believe are for exposure compensation. Each full number representing 1 full stop up or down.

as for question number 2,(not 100% positive) The user profile contains the individual look that you established. Your adjustments to gamma, gain, saturation, etc. Exporting it lets you share it between your and other cameras.

If I didn't answer this completely right please fill me in because I would like to be completely accurate.

Pretty sure you save profile to SD card rather than CF (please correct me if mistaken).

so what happens if you set video exposure +1 but set your asa to 160 are you back where you started in terms of image quality(asa 320?) or is some other stuff going on?

"USER PROFILE provides controls that affect the User Profile.
Choices are CLEAR, IMPORT and EXPORT
CLEAR – allows a User Profile to be cleared from memory.
IMPORT – allows a User Profile to be read from the SD card.
EXPORT - the current USER PROFILE parameters are stored to the SD Card. The camera
generates a file name of the format PROFLE_**.RPF
You may edit USER PROFILE filenames on a computer, but do not change its extension
(.RPF) or the camera will not recognize it. Restrict file names to 12 characters."
