  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

accidently cleared the menus from The TS LCD...

That is a beta firmware. Maybe developers didn't add a function to get it back when you turn it off.
 
That's why it's called "beta" ;-) The fact that this hasn't been caught before it was released just shows how fast we're actually getting to see firmware updates. I like it.
 
and i really really wish there is an easy way to format a ssd drive without the LCD,
in winter (-10 degree celcius) the TS LCD probably will get problems using it with fingers or gloves.
so navigating through the menus should get easier :)
 
yeah with the beta firmware I noticed that.... In the notes about the changes, it does mention that a double tap will bring back the menus.... however it doesn't seem to do so.... if you have menus still set to your HD-SDI, then you can navigate through the menus to get your LCD to have menus again. I've found nothing else to pull the menus back besides a firmware upgrade.

- on a side note.... I've noticed that while having "Preview" selected for your HD-SDI, that sometimes you can't see the menu options (like when selecting an ISO you don't see the actual slider open up). If you power up your EPIC with the LCD / EVF not plugged in, no cable in the LCD / EVF port PERIOD, and just the HD-SDI connected.... then you are able to see the options open up when going through the menus.....
