Anyone have accessory suggestions for top mounted rails? I was going to get Wooden Camera Tiny Versal 19mm but they are on backorder now. They were very appealing in price at $150 each (including top riser), but that is a lot cheaper than Red's DSMC Top Mount 19mm at $350 each.

I've successfully used the wooden camera universal block without the tinyversal piece by flipping it upside down.

Yeah I thought about that but then you lose a few more mounting points.

You could just use it that way as a temporary solution.

Yeah but the Tiny Versal part is what's on backorder. The block risers aren't. The Tiny Versal is what holds the rods. Good thought though.

Depends whether you prioritize money or time.

If you waited for the Wooden Camera version, you could also buy their $100 NATO rail and have all the features of the Red part for $100 less. But the Red's available now.

I already have the Red swat rail and sliding top handle so all I need now is a way mount rods on top.

All anyone was able to comment on was what I had already listed. Surely there are some alternative accessories top mounting rods. Anyone have suggestions?

I have the wooden camera stuff. Wait for it to come out of backorder (email ryan, it probably won't be long and he normally gets back to you in a few hours.) It's really well made stuff and much cheaper.
