SHOULDER DOVETAIL mates with RED BOTTOM PLATE ,but unfortunately,it only be used for handheld shooting. Now there is a Dovetail can mate with RED BOTTOM PLATE:

It looks nice, and show how the Red cheeseplate should have interface with the Red Base Plate.
I'll soon be going with Element Technica, but if it is cheap enough I could be interested.

i'm very much interested in this. what is the price?

If you have this one,you don`t need the cheeseplate.to change SHOULDER DOVETAIL of cheeseplate will let people crazy.
price much much cheaper then ET 19mm system

Keep it light and price it aggressively and I'd get it. I've already had a mini cheesplate dovetail machined for my bottom plate that I'm pretty happy with, but I like your idea here. I'd like to see safety stops so the camera can't slide off by itself.

$600 is a little steep for a bottom plate.... I made my own cheese plate, granted it's not as nice and it's not a quick release system but the material cost me $17 and one hour of my time....

The price has not decided, but I can`t sell you for $17 .It's architecture doesn`t simple like cheese plate. It need CNC and other lathe.
If you want work with 19mm system, you can choose:
1.pay $900 for ET 19mm Base Plate and $475 for ET Dovetail.but no shoulder dovetail.
2.Keep working with RED bottom plate and shoulder dovetail.then buy this one.only pay 400~600

If you have 2060 or 1030, no.1 is a good choose. If you don`t,maybe choose no.2 to save your money.

i'll take one

i'll take one

lock me in i'll take one for sure...!!!
looks great......anyone want a RED cheese plate......going cheap...!

Paul

Nice work!, I use ET's system because it's compatible with Arri, but if you are not worried about that this makes the best use of the production packs parts.
