AC Power for Epic

Is it safe to use this AC Power Adaptor with the 2b-to-1b Power Adaptor Cable to power the Epic?

I have used it and my EPIC didn't explode. I guess it is safe.

I could swear I was told to NOT use the RED One AC adapter or power lead from the RED charger to power the EPIC... Not sure why, other than a difference in output range of the AC adapters. I would definitely wait for RED to chime in on this one. It probably works, as Miltos says, but I wonder about the long-term effects. Also wonder why the red flag is going up in my brain and why I remember being told not to do it. Hmmm...

When I ordered my 1b - 2b cable, my rep assured me that I could use the Elpac AC Adapter... not the line off the charger.

If you choose to use a 150W RED ONE power supply, make sure you purchase a RED branded 2B to 1B adaptor cable.

It's advisable not to use a 100W RED ONE power supply or the D.C output of the RED CHARGER.
