Hi Everyone! I got my beautiful and fantastic Scarlet #805 a few weeks ago and it works like a charm! Totally love this piece of craft!!
But now I got a question regarding battery! It might by an answer that I already know, but no questions are stupid!

I will buy a battery for my Scarlet, Anton Bauer Dionic 90, and a mount, Gold Mount QRC Epic. Will this v-mount work for Scarlet, or do I need another one?

Best Regards

should work fine, but i don't think you'll get percentage readout. not a problem though, just switch when the voltage drops to 12V. If you can though, buy more than 1 Dionic 90, as it won't last you longer than about 1 1/2 hour of juice.

Anton Bauer Dionic 90 doesn't go on a V-mount but a Gold mount, namely the Anton Bauer mount. Now , in order for you to use it on your Scarlet you will need a plate like this http://woodencamera.com/qb-battery-back-ab or this http://www.viewfactor.net/products/epic-scarlet-acc/ab-apu.html
It's cheaper if you get the WoodenCamera plate.

Are any here using the QRC-EPIC battery plate with the Dionic 90 for their Scarlet? I have the QRC-EPIC that is correctly wired regarding lemo pinouts and the Scarlet power status light is red (meaning that it senses the 16.29 Volts) but fails to power on with a sequence of Red light, blink off, Red light and no start instead of Red, blink off, orange light, green light. Not sure why Scarlet is doing this. Is there a log that will show the reason for power-on failure? I find that the Scarlet does work fine with my ab mount on Steadicam Zephyr, so I know it isn't the batteries.
