...fell off for about the sixth time, today, on location in DC. Always just popped it back on and was fine in the past.
This time it fell off unnoticed whilst carrying the camera between locations, and since the locations concerned were the Capitol and the Supreme Court, the chances of it being found by someone *honest* are close to zero! :crying:
Tech support said send it back to RDC, we will fix it. Fine, except the side handle is one of the few bits I don't have two of. I need a temporary fix, just to hold it for a couple of weeks until a window comes up where I can afford to be without it.
Anyone suggest a source for a spare nav wheel, inside or outside of RDC??!!
I could consider this a hint it's time to have a spare handle of course!
(wasn't a good day; an hour or so later a careless kid managed to smash my LCD, but at least I have a spare one of those!)
