I am fairly certain that this was intended to read "Aspect HD". This is one of Cineforms intermediate codecs.

And the $64,000 question is - will you be able to render PRORES 422 QTs - outta Scratch?

Not unless Apple decides to make that codec available on something other than Mac OS X. Scratch is a Windows-only program.
