This is a great list. On various shoots, the need for separate Operator / Client outputs is huge. Multiple LCDs with choices for each to have it's own custom overlay if camera info wold be great.

one device..doesnt matter which one of the three ( evf and two red LCD`s..hehe) should be able to be cleared....

and if you choose 2,35:1 as a framguide everything else of the picture should be darker.

wow...all these wishes are so detailed...red really did come a looong way.

Can the cf cards incrementally update according to the number of the last card removed - in other words we spend a lot of time on set "forcing" the card number usually begin the day at 0001 and so on). We have to do this every time a card is inserted which is a time drain on every reload.

To summarise: Can the red have an incremental card numbering option (based on the card before it).

all good stuff sure, in my experience, for the "technical point" Seperate display setups would come first, followed by Support for two LCD's, then 1:1 Zoom while rolling, that can display only on the LCD, then Waveform and vectorscope overlays followed by all the others good idea, but don't forget the ergonomics...

1. be able to separate the brain from the breakout by 10 or 15 feet minimum. remote head in sports. Small crane heads. vehicle mounting ease. underwater on a stick. small underwater and surf mounts with recorder on the surface. S12K type running like slumdog. etc etc.

2. Be able to adapt my Birger mount to Scarlet/Epic to use my still lenses for projects which cannot pay for RED FF Rental lenses or purchase of same.

To summarise: Can the red have an incremental card numbering option (based on the card before it).

It does have this. If you use "Reset" to change the card number and then format in that menu the camera will begin numbering from that point. If you use "Change" you will get a change just for one format.
