  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

A small "EPIC" contribution for the REDUSER COMMUNITY is in the MAKING... ;)

If I read this correctly - and your videos will be instructional in nature - I look forward to buying them!!
I may be mis-reading the OP, and perhaps the videos-for-sale are "just" a "behind-the-scenes" look, and one must attend the actual Workshops to get the instructional aspect of this program...?

Regardless, will watch for more info with great interest. Thanks Ketch.

As to clarify few points:

The Workshops, will have a fee for those that attend in their City do to the cost of this events, all seats will be reserved prior to, and attendance limited to the
number of people accordingly to each location capacity to comfortably support a good viewing.

There is absolutely no obligation to attend the workshops in order to get a FREE copy of the Digital Download, it will be FREE to every one.

This is my way to say thank you to RED and show the Love for RED their hard work and this Fantastic Community!!

I promise you that this will be no doubt the most after look out Video Download and it will sure be the best BTS video you will ever see, of this I am confident... YOU WILL LOVE IT!!

The BTS video, will not be an usual BTS video per say, but not only will document the making of one of multiple of the Workshops, but will accurately and in Detail document
how to use the RED EPIC during a Still/Motion High Fashion Shoot, literally form the moment it is taken out of the Bag, to the time you are hanging your Print... ;)

Just a fair warning that some Implied nudity will be shown, as I will not shoot fully dressed Beautiful ladies just for the sake of not showing skin for the Training video.... ;)

I'd be very interested in attending these. I have some very specific shoots that I want to do as soon as my scarlet arrives. The use of strobes has been on my mind for some time. I use my kenos even for still photography at this time but I have some concepts that might be fun with strobes. Looking forward to the announcement.
 
The Video will be a compilation of several Workshops, and there will be LOTS of everything, both FLASH lights and Continuos lighting,
most importantly there will be a extremely well explained "BIGINNING TO END" on HOW TO USE a RED EPIC!!

And I literally mean that, as I will show some one that has never even heard about RED how to go to the RED Store and make a complete order of a RED EPIC starting package,
plus I'll suggest other Support accessories to go with, as well as a DIT station, and on set necessities as a starting point, plus a lot more.... ;)

This wil not be like anything else ever done before, this is for the one that has no clue how to start up even the camera it self, and it is also for the Experienced FilmMaker that has never use
a camera like Epic for Digital Stills Extraction, or used one inn a Fashion Shoot.

It wil be a lot of fun.... ;)

Thanks for the warning Andrew,

fortunately I pride myself with having an excess experience and knowledge in foreign countries and their Customs and religions,
far ever before I visit them, this is off course the case in Muslim country Dubai... ;)

When the workshop (if it happens there) and or the Fashion shoots, will be appropriate to Dubai,
as it is always been and always will be my intention to honor each please I visit not disrespect it... ;)

What I mean to say is that "NOT EVEN" behind closed doors will I shoot Nudity in Dubai, and that those shoots will
happen in Countries were it is allowed, like Italy and other ones on the list plus some not on the list... ;)

won't a "simple" online distribution over your own site be easier and cheaper w/out having to go via iTunes?
