A ring light.. Finally

Really nice design on that ring light. I just hope it is light, because it looks heavy as heck. Has the weight been mentioned, did I miss it?

It would be interesting if it were possible to mount it directly onto the front of a geared head on a Fisher-11. The Epic would be the least of your concern. Use Ultra primes and Red Bricks from the back of the dolly if it is close. Or use something with screw on filters. Then you could go up, down, dolly on a flat-floor, tilt and pan with precision. That could be fun.

A full shot isn't where these lights are at home.

On a full shot I use them to subtly lessen shadows.

Yes, that's my thinking, but that can be done with any number of cheaper fixtures, I was wondering if Jay had another use for it on a full length shot - as I can't think of one.
