When re-assembling SIGMA zooms, is there a special thin-walled tubular tool for jigging the lens groups in place inside their sleeves and the pillar inserts being inserted through the tube?
I am making very slow progress putting the pillars back in with tweezers and a tiny screwdriver as a center guide.
Is there a chemical treatent which could be wiped inside the lens barrel or into a small felt pad glued inside the barrel to inhibit fungus regrowth?
Any advice will be appreciated.
