Yeah no kidding- like the designs of FB and twitter don't contribute to the ADD of kids today or anything. Someone should design a Twitter with a minimum of 500 well-researched words per post...

Im currently having a debate on how the red one compare to others and my question that im pondering over is.

How do you think the red one cameras have had an impact on the film industry? eg costs and technical reasons.

There are some questions that aren't well-served or adequately answered in the one or two paragraphs that a forum post is limited to. This is one of them. Another would be "please explain the Isreali-Palestinian conflict, it's history, and possible solutions."

It also depends on how broadly you want to define "the film industry." A lot of people are mainly focused on what Hollywood studios are doing as a frame of reference.

sony - yeah i got these guys strung out on some HDV, i know i can do 2k 35mm size chip and maybe i can even do 4k, but these suckers are happy paying top dollar for HDV....ha ha ha ha

panny - yeah i got some HDV coming too, but mine is not long gop, i am going for straight up 1920 x 1080 baby...and forget tape i am going with super secret rehoused cf cards yo.

jvc - i got some hdv too man, and i may even through in some interchangeable lenses...

canon - you all are crazy man, little johnny and his dad dont want no HD they cant even figure out how to cut that shit, i sticking with the SD and the XL1, it is the bomb!

another table in the room is a little bigger and the table cloth is a little fancier and it only has two high rollers sitting down...but in the same room.

panavision - we got that genesis and it will rule the world for the next 20 years, you watch, we are going to ride that bitch for years, no need for anything else for a long long time.

Arri - yeah i got something real similar and i feel the same way - lets just keep it all right here for a while and we can slowly move these suckers up to that 4k over the next 50 years, just like we did with SD video.

they all fall back on their chairs hit the ground, chips fly up in the air and start to scatter around the room, the huge man walks out and all the air leaves the room, the 6 of them are left in complete darkness, ion the floor, scratching their heads and wondering what the fuck just happened to them...

cut to next morning...
