A good wide angle for the Zeiss ZF

How bad is the distortion on the Tokina 11-16mm?

Certainly better than 1400% that of the Leica 15mm I presume

Zeiss is very ok but not the best even using UPs or MPs,

Panavision have got it all,

I cannot tell you how but you could guess it...

By what measure? Certainly not sharpness. One of the reasons Panavision lenses are so well regarded is because they have a softer look than Zeiss, like S4s but more neutral. I know your obsession with Leica Sanjin, and they are probably the best still lens manufacturing house period, but Elcan only makes the glass for Panavision, who actually design the lenses. There is not as much in connection between Panavision and Leica as you lead on.
I've come to appreciate all the qualities of the major lens manufactures, Zeiss, Cooke, Panavision and Angineux, even Nikon and Canon all have their place on the palette.

ZFs was ok! I was very surprised. 1m= 1.1m but all lenses the same so I must set backfocus on red lens mount.

Leica are superb lenses, i know them and have used them, but this statement is a little too big ...seriously.

There are other superb lenses on the market that equal Leicas...

It's much more about a look signature between Zeiss and Leica, and Canon and Nikon, Angenieux, Cooke etc...etc...
