A Finger, Two Dots Then Me

This is a short film hybrid based on a poem by Derrick Brown that we did a while ago. It's been on the festival circuit for the last year or so, winning some awards including the CINE Masters Series award and the Heartland Crystal Heart award. It was the first film we shot with our original sensor RED One, filmed mostly with an 85mm Red Pro Prime (it was the only lens we had at the time). You'll notice a couple of stock shots in there to fill in some gaps but thats it.

Red gave us the ability to shoot this with mostly just a two person crew, and we're thrilled with the images even the original sensor gave us.

I know poetry isn't everyone's cup of tea but just give it a chance!
