Hi guys,

Maybe some one out there know what these two issues might be:

ISSUE 1
On some clips, when I'm using REDCINE, the blue channel on the histogram stretches away into the blacks, almost like a single wire, as opposed to the usual wave you see towards the right of the histogram. It's as if the Blue is crushing on the blacks. This is weird, as I play around with exposure, ISO, etc. and I can't avoid not crushing them. In other words, in the histogram the blue always triggers the thick vertical line on the left of the histogram. Could this actually be a REDCINE issue, since the images look fine to me, or is it a symptom of something more serious, like the camera's sensor?

ISSUE 2
With the latest firmware (release version), the v-lock Globalmedia Pro batteries don't show the consumption percentage, instead it just says 100%.

ISSUE 3
When using a Hyperdeck Shuttle 2, I was recording the metadata onto the external recorder, so the Pro Res would look richer and with less need for grading (I know, a fast turn-around job...) In some shots, again the histogram seemed to clip the blacks, but when looking at the monitor, the two didn't add up together, as there was no actual clipping occurring on the actual image. Not sure why it did this. Any ideas?

I just want to ensure that it's other stuff that's causing this, as opposed to the actual camera.

Thanks
Antonio

Issue 3:
By "metadata" you mean, say, an SDI-feed? I don't think actual Metadata gets pumped out within the image to an external HD recorder (I use a PIX 240).
Anyway I often clip the Histogram (which, if we are talking about the same scale) for SD (non-RAW) recordings and these look fine in the final recorded ProRez image.
The Histogram is reading the RAW signal off the sensor, as I understand it.
