A-Box (Weapon, Scarlet-W, Raven) on RED Dragon

Hey guys,

I bought all my accessories for my Scarlet-W order but as we all know those won't be with us for unkown months.
I'm lucky enough that Brent sorted me out with an Epic Dragon kit for the time I'm waiting.
So I'm trying to get that one to a (production) worthy kit witout investing in too many parts I won't need once my Scarlet-W arrives.

So the question is:
Would an WC A-Box for DSMC2 bodies work on a DSMC body?
I know it is the wrong cable but then again I can use a "wrong cable" (stereo mini jack to stereo mini jack / aux cable) to connect a Zoom H4 to one
of the audio inputs and that works...

Did anyone tried this yet?

A-Box for DSMC 1 doesn't work on the 2, but WC sells an adapter kit now.
