Guys...this is an amazing monitor and well worth even paying full retail, since I couldn't find one used. You and your clients will be blown away by the functionality and resolution. Makes focusing in 5/4k a breeze.

Is it just me? I`d rather pay $3,450 and get one with full warranty and no hassle from RED. "New" or not, 13 % or so discount for used goods is not worth the risk & lack of warranty IMHO.

Let me ask you guys this: is the 9" worth $3,500?
I have never played with one before..at NAB I couldn't even get within 15' of the one on display.
I have heard that it is fairly rough in it's image quality....but that could be mere hearsay.
I need something bigger than the 5" to verify focus..I use a 17" Panasonic for color.
Any advice from actual owners out there?

It's an unbelievable monitor and well worth the monitor. Blows away the 5" touch. I was hesitant at first, since $3500 is a good chunk of chance, but I can attest that it's worth every penny. It's like a whole new camera. Hehe
