9:16 guides (keeping camera horizontal) ?

Could somebody help me to set the 9:16 guides? Camera will operate normally (horizontally)

there was a thread somewhere here but i can't find it right now.
It should be something close of 0.5800:1 (this number is not technically correct)

If you need only 9:16 then i would not suggest you to do so. You are loosing over 2/3 of the available pixels from your sensor. Just flip the camera 90degree

Framing in camera using 9:16 will take you a lot of work to reframe later to 16:9

Edit:
And most probably you'll lose top and bottom in 16:9 and you'll be unhappy with the framing anyways

if the math is correct then the guides should be as follows:
3240/5760 = 0,5625 in 6K 16:9
3240/6144 = 0,5273 in 6K 17:9

*im not sure if the guides are affected on the recorded resolution chosen in camera.

For in-camera easiest way is to setup the frame guides as 'User' and then simply input the aspect ratio. That way any resolution you shoot with will be calculated correctly.

Easiest method for 9:16 or 4:5 which is common for instagram is just divide the aspect ratio and the output is the number you will put in camera.
You can then save that guide as a preset so you can easily toggle it on and off as you need and regardless of resolution it will be correct.

9 divided by 16 = 0.5625
4 divided by 5 = 0.8

I was messing with the RED control app and in the guides area, there was a button to add your own guide.
