  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

8mm T1.3 Optar illumina PL mount wideangle lens (perfect for 2K)

I think it would help to see the grabs, you can e-mail them to me and I'll upload them full resolution if you want to. I am very curious to see them myself.

New policy- If you haven't used this lens and your still concerned about optical quality (even after well known companies and DP's have agreed about my comments on this lens' optical quality), I'm not going to sell it to you- but please, go to abelcine or whatever rental house is near and rent the lens and test it if your interested. You would be stupid not to do something like that- shooting and showing a nice frame grab is a far cry from trying the lens out yourself. I regret ever posting grabs in the first place!

Hunter, I am sorry man, I was just really eager to check out the 8mm FOV in it's full glory

I am sure that anyone who would be looking to purchase this lens from you wouldn't confuse my post with mistrust of the lens capabilities or state

and just to clarify once more, I am only eager to check it out

hope that suffices bro... and me no likely the word "stupid" being used on the post prior this one, but it certainly wasn't used directly towards anyone in particular, and I am just being jumpy in even mentioning it

best of luck on the sell, wish I had such a beaut of a lens
