Quick and dirty shoot. Mixed and available light. Mostly ISO 800 and 1000.
Just playing around for the stills. NOT the final grade.
Camera ops: myself, and Kholi
Special thanks to Jake Blackstone for The Swing and Shift, fun stuff.

The noise is quite pleasant, Matt an I were commenting on that relentlessly. I was also saying how swiftly I need to get rid of my dslrs. =[

looking forward to seeing some footage from this.

Later,
Jason

Looks like we're still getting some of that split screen effect during the flash photography at 0:31.

Indeed. It will still be something to avoid. Figure that would be something people would want to see, though. So we left it in.

Here is a iphone grab of the location to show the fantastic conditions we were shooting in.

And yes, there is still a problem with strobes.

The only way to eliminate the split screen issue with strobes is to go to a 100% global shutter. You would have the same issue if you were shooting film, just without the perfectly sharp horizontal edge to it.

Indeed. It's not something that bothers me, either. Just avoid it!

I love Furbies!

canon t/s?

haha! Furbies.

Not sure what Swing-and-Shift it was, but it was for a Medium Format camera. Had to be about an 85mm Focal Length equivalent or more and it was a bit of a pain to setup. Had to gaff and duvy the bellows.

Also, should be mentioned, all of the Tilt Shift material is at F8.
