7D My Menu Settings

I know this is the REDUser forum but since I'm sure many use the 7D and I've seen some great stuff posted here off the 7D I was wondering as to if I was completely blind or if it was a firmware upgrade issue...

I can't for the life of me find the 'my menu' option as well as what seems to be the fact that my whole entire menu looks different...I'm missing quite a few settings options and other such things that are shown across the web...I did google it and I checked the firmware notes but nothing seems to be giving an answer!

Unless I'm mistaken and the 'Canon EOS 7D' is in fact another 7D altogether to what everyone is on about...though this i doubt...

Sometimes you will be locked out of certain menu functions if your mode dial is set to anything other than 'M'

wow..fixed! thanks...didn't think that the dial would make a serious difference but guess the obvious answer is the most likely answer...thanks once again!

At the Menu up find the button Tutorials>>Mouse over>>Choose one that you would need>>>

I have also de-checked MENU>>Other functions>>Brain scan>> Implant "Warm fuzzy feeling about Canon" to-->OFF
