  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

744T batteries

Personally, I prefer the NP-F770 batteries in my Sound Devices 702 and 788T--the 770 battery (or generic brand equivalent) fits completely within the recess in the recorder. The 970's protrude, makes it a little more of a pain since I generally have them sitting vertically in a sound bag.

I really only use the onboard battery as a fail over/hotswap for external battery swap though (external power via Lemo), so the smaller battery capacity didn't matter to me. If I were using the onboard battery as the primary power source, I'd probably take a little inconvenience for 50% more capacity per battery.
