Hi! Is anyone having issues with the DSMC3 RED Touch ?

When I turn the camera on - the monitor goes "pink" color and can't change anything. See pic below. I was using it on set and it was fine then it got into the "weird mode"

When I press record - the screen is still pink but it records fine. When I go to preview the clip - it plays normally.

Not happening on mine, try your firmware updates and check again. Send back to Red if still occurring.

Monitor updates are now different from our usual Red DSMC experience. You need to go to https://downloads.smallhd.com/ to update touch firmware separately via SD. Raptor updates are from the usual channel.

I have had issues with my SmallHD Ultrabright monitor when I plug it in or turn it on while the camera is booting or plug or unplug the D tap when the camera is on.
My feeling is that the camera is fine if it is on and you then turn on accessories but don't try to power up the camera and turn on any accessories at the same time or until the camera has fully booted.
After waiting for the camera to power up I haven't had any issues so make sure your powered up before turning on other accessories. Im guessing that if I read the manual it would probably say something similar to this.
Maybe thats the issue.

Maybe when we have the ability to use larger batteries with an adapter this might resolve some of these issues with amps being drawn and power loads.
