7.0.0 firmware focus problems?

Hi I have the weapon helium and since upgrading to V7.0.0, I noticed all my canon L glass adjusts it's focus every time I turn on the camera or switch the lens. Yes, before you're a smart Alec, I have the AF turned off on the lenses. Never use Auto Focus and my camera's focus settings are manual. Anyone have the same issue? and if so, anything to do to resolve it other than backdating the firmware?

Menu > Overlays > Tools

Or just tap the histogram.

It sounds like when the camera is powering up, it does a systems check to make sure everything is operational. That would explain why your lens is using its electronic functions, even with the auto focus is turned off.

Thanks so much! What I did was create a pre set that turns on the Edge Focus and then assigned that to a key. I love using that function in sunlight. Makes it easier to focus when I'm not sure I have focus.
