6K HD plus 1920x1080 ProRes

[TheBied]

Stephen,

Did you happen to have look around enabled when you were using the 6K HD mode?

Without look around, 6K HD will scale to 1920x1080 when the codec resolution is set to 2K.
With look around, 6K HD will scale to 2048x1052 when the codec resolution is set to 2K.

It's usually the reach around that gets me, not the look around ;-)

Gotta Love Blair,

How you doing man, hope to see you at NAB... but keep your hands to yourself.

Matt, I'm sure you're right. I don't usually have look around enabled but did for that particular project. I'll double check when I get done with my current work.

Also Gotta love RedUser, lots of smart people willing to help others.

Cheers, and thanks!

Checked this out and 6K HD gives 1920x1080 Proxies. So everything in order.

Had the same issue this week. Eventually turned the lookaround off and all was well. Hope this can be modified at some point to leave lookaround on.

This is good to know. An option to keep proxies to 1920x1080 while shooting 6KHD with lookaround on would really useful.

I agree!!!!
