6ix seconds to die , a 3-minute horror short for the competition "Shortcuts to hell"

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share with you a very small short film we just shot last week for the london-based competition "shortcuts to hell". A lot of challenges for this one : the competition says we can only have 6 crew members, one day of shooting, 3 minutes total running time, a budget of 666 pounds and all that :)

We shot on my little scarlet, and pulled a lot of favors (including from Red Europe, they were amazing) to get the required equipment within the limits of our budget.

Have a look, I hope you'll enjoy :

Thanks! :)

and £ 666 ?

yep, 666 pounds ;) that was very hard to keep.
we had a pro crew that all came to work for free, cam was mine but I only have Canon lenses. Panavision gave us PL lenses for free, Panalux charged 50 pounds for a truck full of lights, stands and a generator, locations were all free. It's a lot of favors that mostly the director got for working with them over the last few years, but everybody seems excited to be part of it. especially since it was such a short turn-over, everything from prep to post was done in a week!

despite the way it sometimes feel on commercial shoots, filmmaking can still be an exciting process hehe
