So are there any 64bit drivers available for The RedRocket? Are they in the works? The rest of my machine loves 64bit, but I need to use 32 bit Kernel If I want to use the Rocket. The Rocket is the only Hardware I want to use that isn't supported in 64bit. My sil3132 chips operate much smoother in 64 bit/

When the Red Station comes out, In order to use the e-sata port you'll need a Chipset, For me e-sata is the most reliable with sil3132 chips, The Marvell(Sonnet Pro) and Jmicron363/393(which you'll only see on PC motherboards) works but sil3132 is more reliable in my opinion... I'm mostly talking about PCI-e 3132 cards. The CF Card reader is much more responsive in mounting and unmounting cards when running on a 64 bit Kernel. In 32bit, Cards don't want to mount if there is another operation in progress on the chipset(3132). Which just makes me wait a few minutes... I didn't need to wait in 64 bit... And I had better luck with 32bit in Leopard 10.5.8 than 10.6.4/ But the performance difference between 10.6.4 and 10.5.8 is a little dramatic, as long as your in 64 bit.

So are there any Snow Leopard Beta 64 bit Rocket drivers we can play with?

Rocket drivers are already both 64 and 32bit.

Rocket drivers are already both 64 and 32bit.

Does having 64 bit positively impact Rocket's performance or is it more of a compatibility thing?

Are the RED apps 64 bit or 32? I imagine that they do deal with large data sets, so I can see value in 64 bit. Would it affect performance in RED's case?

Like I said I've noticed certain hardware operates better when a 64bit kernel and extension are loaded. The rocket card I rented was running older firmware, I got the okay to re-flash it when the job was almost over. No worries, It worked exceptionally well in 32 bit, even though some of my other hardware wasnt very happy.
