  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Before too long there won't be a 'Hackintosh'

There will be 'you got OSX on there yet?'

Well, after taking a good look at it, I'm not all that impressed. Some of their config options are a bit restrictive and some prices are wack. Much more cost-effective to go with other blade server options, because that's what this Cray really is. Just a desk-side, 8-blade cluster. It's kinda cool how they're marketing it and to whom and their Amazon.com distribution option for certain configs, etc..

Good news for those who don't want to be stuck with Microsoft as their only OS option! The Cray CX1 also supports Linux.

CRYSIS!!!!
Thats the Ish.

Size-wise it would go great with a Dalsa Origin :)

While we're at it why don't we just ask CERN to handle our transcoding with their Grid network
