64 bit codecs

[Mike N]

Hello,

Just installed Vista 64 on my computer and I read that extrenal codecs do not work with Vista unless 64 bit. So, do you know of any good codecs that might help me?
Is it really helpful performance wise to have codecs in 64 bit ?
Adobe Premiere comes preinstalled with some codecs are those 64 bit also ?

Thanks,
Mike

You won't have any problems with Red software or Adobe, it all works flawlessly in 64bit

PPRo and others are still 32 bit
only photoshop 64 is true 64bit of the CS4 apps

I am running them on vista 64...no problem.

cineform is still only 32 bit and runs no problem...
and i bet redcode is 32 bit as well...

so i wouldn't worry about it
