I'm selling my lightly used Letus MCS cage for a 5D3 as well as their excellent Top Handle (V2).

The cage and handle combo have been great over the last year, but i now have access to significantly better cameras and don't want this sitting on the shelf. Unlike all the other cages i tried, this one prevents any sort of rotation of the camera within the cage via the nifty tapered locating pin that screws in through the baseplate into one of the battery grip alignment holes on the 5D. If you're sick of follow focuses detaching because the 5D only has one 1/4" 20 hole then this is the solution to your woes. It's significantly lighter than the first version of the letus cage and has easy access to all the key areas of the camera. It provides a plethora of mounting holes which are incredibly convenient for rigging and accessories. I used the 5d shooting raw video as an onboard camera in racing cars multiple times with great success. There is no way you would be able to get a rigid car mount with a 5d3 without this cage.

A note on the top handle - it truly is excellent. I was tempted to keep it for other rigs but i feel it's best served with the cage.

There is no significant cosmetic damage/scratches, just a few scuffs here and there, i'd rate it at 90% condition.

Price brand new is US$620, but you won't be able to find one as they've sold out for the time being. I'm happy to let this go for US$500

Item ships from Sydney, Australia, buyer pays shipping and paypal fees.

An example of the rigging possibilities (with the first version of the cage - same idea)
