  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Daniel is correct. All 512GB and 1TB mini-mags are the "fast" 300MB/s speed, regardless of whether they are black or red in color. When RED released the smaller capacity slower ones they started producing the 512's and 1TB's in the red housings. Makes it confusing in situations like this. Wish they would have put the new ones in grey housings or something to denote the slower speed, I don't know. I, and others, have suggested to RED that they need to make note of this in the media guide.

@Jesse - how much do you want for the 1TB? I need to pick up a couple of these and I'm trying to see if it's worth rounding up a couple used+new (not a whole lot of used ones on the used market) or if I should just suck it up and get a 4-pack of new.
