Lunchtime break on day 1 a 4 day shoot. Epic-W on most recent firmware. Card formatted to UDF. MacBook Pro on OSX Sierra. 512GB minimag cards recognised by RedLauncher, but won't appear in Finder. Can't backup any files.

All files appear in Explorer when using PC, but all our storage is mac formatted thunderbolt 2 drives...argh!

Any suggestions>?

You might have to install a UDF driver for OSX. It might come from Sony.

At least I mount Arri and Sony UDF drives pretty regularly

Not running beta firmware here, but link to the driver Gunleik was referring to:

sonycreativesoftware.com/sxsudfdriver

Note: Seems like the link keeps popping up an ad on my iPhone. You may need to copy and paste.

Gunleik - thank you very, very much. If you go to IBC this year I will buy you beer!

UDF Drivers worked a treat.

Thanks for this thread! I've been having a difficult time with UDF-formatted cards myself on my Hackintosh - sometimes they would show in Finder, but mostly won't. And when it does show up, any type of operation was slooooow. I had to switch back to FAT32 because of a couple of important projects.

I'll check out the drivers and see if they work too!
