[FS: OPTICS] 50mm and 80mm BAC monoblock Lomo Squarefront Anamorphic

[Mike Quill]

Selling a PL mounted 50mm and 80mm BAC monoblock Lomo Squarefront Anamorphic for $16,000 OBO. Been using these on my Red Epic Dragon for a while and have gotten great results with them. They create gorgeous organic images, and really take the digital edge off the Red.

Optically they are in nice shape, in fact the 50mm is quite sharp wide open. No detectable scratches or cleaning marks on either lens. Some dust, but does not affect the image. If you are familiar with these old Lomos, you know their mechanics are not their main selling point, and they could always benefit from a good servicing. They were both collimated about 2 years ago. The 50mm focus barrel is quite stiff and the 80mm is smoother but doesn't have the nice dampened feel of modern lenses.

Here are a few videos I shot with them:

These lenses are located in Boston, MA and ideally I would like to sell locally, as I think it's important they be examined and tested in person. I will consider shipping, but buyer would cover the cost.
