Looking to save some money on an 11-16mm Tokina, 18-35mm Sigma, and telephoto zoom kit, but tempted to get the 70-200mm IS only I can't really afford it...

On super35 ONLY, how do the two compare? How is the IS on each? I find the IS on Tamron lenses, for instance, to be too jerky for video, and the IS on some Canon lenses to be much better than on others. Not that much experience with Sigma. Thanks!

Hi, the sigma 50-150 dont let you use the is with red. Atleast i did not get it to function. The is on canon is great! So its an easy choice gor me betwen sigma and canon. Have a look at the 70-200 L4. I like it alot. Small and good price to.

fyi the red 50-150 is the sigma rehoused.

The old one.

I'll have to go with the 70-200mm when I can afford it, I guess. As much as I love the 18-35mm f1.8, even it only focuses consistently on my Mark III (would be nice if I could get it working on an APS-C body!).
