50-150mm Lens Has Arrived

[Craig Bowman]

Fedex delivered it this afternoon. They're real and shipping. For me this was the last of the accessories from my original Red configuration order to arrive!

Whew!

I'm going up to Myra Canyon on Sunday for the reopening of the railroad tressels. Will post!

Hi

Please can you tell us if the 5O-150mm holds focus as you zoom (or is it a VP like the 18-50mm..)

Thanks

Michael

Why hasn't anyone posted pictures of their 50-150s yet?

[Tail Ends]

Tony, that's the $64,000 question. Or, why is everyone who has one so silent? Kinda contrary to the hype that is usually floating around here. A bit scarry to me. Anyone out there with a 50-150 who loves it?

[Francis Kenny]

I have used this lens several times. Different 50-150's from different vendors. The lens is terrific. My footage was sharp, held throughout the zoom, and very easy to work with. It also looked great through the projector over at Schneider Optics. It is a beautiful lens for very little money compared to the alternatives. You will not be disappointed.

Clarification ..... Different Red 50-150's from different vendors who carry Red Lenses. The lens is terrific.

[Bob Torrance]

Anyone know the outside diameter of the lens?

thanks

[Paul Hazlett]

anyone else with a 50-150 on the way?? Nalu, what was your number?

[Bob Rudis]

Does the lense image change when you pull focus?

[Jeff Kilgroe]

The correct question is when did you receive your RED camera? Backorders on all things, EVFs, lenses, accessories, etc.. Are no longer being handled in order of serial #, but in the order of when RED shipped your camera.

[Tony Lorentzen]

That image is of the "old" lens. When is the new going to come out (or am I mixing this up with the 18-85?)

[Paul Hazlett]

the 50-150 will remain AFAIK the primes and 18-85 are new
