  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

50-150 weird blur

That weird blur looks EXACTLY like what happened to my Nikkor 18-70 when the zoom mechanism broke and i got it fixed. The optical axis is not perfectly straight because the repair guy didn't really care when fixing a $100 lens for a teenager. Crappy situation, because after someone screws the lens a little bit, all the other brave volunteers fail when you say "fix it".

I suggest having your lens checked by a professional repairman, maybe the lens' elements bumped out of their places a bit.
 
I just rememberd that on the day of the shoot the iris was not working properly. I would rotate the iris adjustment but nothing was happening. I'm beginning to think it's the lens. I've been on shoots the past few days and still have not had time to check it.
