would it be possible to create a 5 pin lemo to 12v DC cable so that we could use our Lemo monitoring port on the side CF Module to power a LCD screen?
I figure, the lemo port powers the red screens and sends and image but if we made it into a power cable it would transfer the power and the image signal would be a non issue.
I have found this
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/327844-REG/Sound_Devices_XLLX_XL_LX_LEMO_5_to.html
which takes 5 pin lemo to 3 pin xlr
and then maybe if I could find a 3 pin xlr to 4 pin xlr connector I could use this
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/504235-REG/Delvcam_DELV_XL4DC_DELV_XL4DC_XLR_Male_to.html
and then power the camera.
It would be a pain in the ass to have all that cable around but it would be better than having to worry about another set of batteries.
Would it be possible to somehow build a cord that goes from lemo on one end to DC power on the other? If it's just power I don't see why not. At my work we build edison plug to stage pin adapter cables all the time.
Any thoughts?
