Have you tried the sharpening function on the current, in camera firmware with the 5" touchscreen. I find it a very big enhancement, as regards focusing, with that display in particular. Your current price point is a great value, IMHO.

Hi Brendan,

The current firmware, for Dragon, provides for the sharpening option, which is user adjustable, with a slider control. I have, the 5, 7, 9 and EVF, which all will show the sharpenening effect. One's taste and goal can have, of course, individual variation. I like a somwhat sharpened display image over peaking and, for me, gave the 5" touchscreen enhanced value.

After uploading the firmware, MENU>SETTINGS>LOOK>SHARPNESS
