5.0" LCD Functionality

Hello,

We are investing in the Scarlet (AL Canon) for our agency and in talks with Jacek at Optitek in regards to the Nikon ProLock. Just curious to know if the touch LCD have any touch focus features with any PL or Canon lenses...Meaning can you actually control the iris or focusing with the LCD.

If so, I wanted to discuss that with Optitek and see if there are certain limitations to the ProLock.

Please advise if possible.

The RED Canon mount can do aperture and focus from the touch screen, as will RED's Nikon mount when it's released.

Third party mounts will likely not be able to do this. PL lenses aren't able to be controlled through the mount, although some lenses can pass data back.
