they're just numbers for identifying 2 cameras.

well then we can at least infer that there are two Ravens, right?
this would be a stretch and probably not very logical, but why not name them 1&2 or A&B for prototype testing. Nah, you're right 12 & 24 makes more sense.

Was just about to post, but the V1 4k sensor shoots 150fps at 1080p, and the "V2" 4.6k sensor shoots 120fps at 4k

"This new 4K v2 sensor is now rolling out in new URSA cameras and allows high frame rates full resolution 4K of up to 120 fps."

At $5k, that's pretty sick.

He'll spill details earlier than that... Jarred has a tendency not to sleep, and in the wee hours of the morning he drops bombshells while drowsy...

...And if not, at least we have a timeframe.

Bloody hell... Maybe there's 25 of them in the wild and he has 12 and 24 on the testbench.. Sometimes it's like trying to talk to Dan Brown.:)

lol you're doing the same thing you're mocking (making a guess on what the numbers mean).

I guess we'll find out next Friday.

Or maybe there are only two, named in multiples of 12.

wtfk

Something about this:

"Taking the best of both worlds..." from the OLPF thread...

Tells me that Raven is a Epic sensor and guts in a weapon body. Something that makes it possible to close the Epic/Scarlet body line. Something that I hope still gives holdouts in scarlet and epic an upgrade to this new body because basically if everyone moves up to that body then swapping sensors in the future is more efficient.

p.s. I think i need to give up Reduser until the 25th as this is not healthy refreshing this website every 5 minutes.

RAVEN 24, RAVEN 12

lets analyze this. This means there are two versions of the Raven. The 24 and 12 have to have some significance. I'm guessing they are prices $24k for he higher model and $12 for the lower version. This makes sense because there are basically two versions of weapon 6k and 8k and then these two will round out the epic and scarlet paths for the new body style

WEAPON 8k
WEAPON 6k
RAVEN 24
RAVEN 12
lol, dude... come on.

Tiny drone camera locked at 4k res, prores only. Fixed MFT lense. Only requires (included) ssd module to run, because the whole thing is operated with an iPad via wifi. Will work for indie crowd cause it is small, portable, pro-quality and offers dragon image for only $4-5k.

Raven is a Weapon form factor. Why do folks insist it will be tiny?

It does appear to have the monitor mount on the side. Would that be unique to Raven or does Weapon have the same?

Just a long time lurker to be clear. What if this has nothing to do with 4 to 8 brushless motors and props? Mr. Pedersen speaks of audio only OMods for Raven in post #57 of the OMod thread...for docs/news people. Birds are not the only things traveling in the air these days. Food for thought.
