4k to 2k which codec?

I am transferring 4k 2:1 files to 2k 2:1 files with redcine. Redcode makes me a lot of trouble, I am using aja kona 3 card, how good is the aja codec for film outs?

10bit uncompressed 444 via Kona 3 looks stunning - practically 2K and a great format for independent filmmaking. We did a 35mm out with their 4:2:2 uncompressed codec and it looked really good - actually the print looked worse than a 2K digital projection because of gate weave, etc...
