  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

4K Projectors

They also apparently have a 4K camcorder coming.

Andrew! Sarasota rocks, especially Siesta key among other keys, man I miss those pure white sugar sand beaches insane cool. I grew up south of you in naples. but I digress.

TI (Texas Instruments) just fired back up the DLP chip division last year after (stupidly) shutting down after the mortgage meltdown, whilst Sony landed all the theaters with what is essentially "stitched 1080P" 4K projectors.

Lets give TI (and asian others) the rest of 2011 to unveil some killer new 4K dark chips - among every other innovations with Redray or Red 4K or whatever its finally called.

Here in Switzerland money is flowing to get digital in the theater and they mainly go 2k.

Redray and 4k projector manufacturer should hurry up... Investment is ususally done for 10 to 15 years... even if it's electronic equipment.

Perhaps they do it in purpose to be able to sell upgrade to 4k in 2 to 3 years time...?
