4K Light Leaks - R3D Download

[Zack McTee]

Sometimes I like to add light leak effects to my footage for transitions, or to stylize clips. I've had a series of different files I've used in the past, but all were 1080p and lower resolution. Yesterday I decided to make some of my own light effects in 4K to have in the arsenal.

I've started playing around with them yesterday, and thought I'd share one of the links for everyone else to use and mess around with:

I would upload more, but need a place to host the files. I have some longer video files that are really great, but they're in the 4gb range.

Quick and dirty few clips I strung together to see how these would look https://vimeo.com/zackmctee/review/46576115/15a0a4a3aa

I'm in post on a project now that I'm going to use these on, I'll post it once it's finished and released.

In the meantime I'd love to see anything that these get used on.

Hey Zack, the link doesn't work.

Hey Zack, the link doesn't work.

Thanks for the heads up! Looks like the initial privacy settings were for "collaborators only." Updated so that anyone with the link can download. Let me know if it still doesn't work.

Thanks! I've been looking for good quality light leaks for ages. Could you put you 1080p ones up? Cheers!!

[Trevor Meeks]

Adam... you can always just create a 1080p version from the 4K file...

[Marco Lomiler]

I liked it.

Thanks, looking forward to seeing how people use them. I'll try to get some of the bigger files uploaded too
