I'm at CES all this week but already it's obvious that there is a big push by lots of vendors to get 4K/UHDTV off the ground ... it's no longer a question of 'if' but 'when' ... 4K is everywhere at CES.
On the NanoTech booth in the South Hall we're playing back 4K content on the new SEIKI 65 inch UHDTVs ... looks gorgeous and the new new digital processor is way better than the one in the 50 inch TV. We're also demoing the Nuvola NP1 4K streaming box which will soon be shipping at $299 each. Have to say that when if comes to the 4K viewing experience, size matters! ... 65 inch UHDTVs really start to do justice to the detail in 4K content .. and the LG 84 curved UHDTV is incredible! ... just a little out of my price bracket at the moment so I think I'll stick with the SEIKI for the time being ;-)
