4K full Resolution Playback

Have a new iMac 5k, but it seems the Quicktime only plays back on 2K. (Good on you Apple.) What's the best 4K playback options in terms of 4K players?

I have the same setup - what is your resolution set to in your System Prefs?
By default, it is 2560x1440.

Hey Andy. I just got this machine. In System Preferences is states "Default for Display." But unlike old macs, if you choose Scale, instead of offering resolution in you gives you options for "text." I have no idea what that's all about. I want to play 4K rez files at 4K. Confused and feel like a newb again. Never ends.

Ah, no worries Joe - if you hold down the "Option" key while clicking on "Scaled" it will give you a traditional resolution list.
