4K/5K/6K 1.3 Modes for SLR Magic 1.33 Compact Anamorphot

I realize anamorphic has not yet been implemented in the RedOS as of yet for the Komodo. Hopefully soon.

I was wondering if anyone has looked into the SLR Magic 1.33x Compact Anamorphot? It looks like a nice light and compact way to augment the GDU 40mm and get an optical 1.33x stretch without cropping just for the 2.35 aspect ratio.

I can't figure out if the front thread of the GDU 40mm is 37mm or 40mm. Both numbers are on the edge of the front. Ideally it's 40mm, then no step adapter will be required.

Based on that image, the 40mm is referencing the focal length and the 37mm is the diameter. So you'd have to us that step up adapter I think!

I have the unit (but using it with Leica Elmarits) and I'm currently willing to let it go, if you want to see examples, dm me.
